Product Overview

Monoethanolamine is a versatile amino alcohol combining the chemical characteristics of both an amine and an alcohol.

It is extensively used in gas treatment, detergent manufacture, corrosion inhibitors, chemical synthesis, surfactants and industrial formulations.

One of MEA’s major industrial applications is the absorption and removal of acidic gases such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide from gas streams.
